I am always interested in the mysteries all over the world. When I was in primary school, I read about Tutankhamen accidently in a book. From that time, I have been curious about him for many years. Every time a research or report was made on him, I was willing to read about it.
Tutankhamen was an Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th dynasty. He became a pharaoh when he was only 9 years old and he died at the age of 19. Although he died when he was still young, he left us many mysteries.
One of the mysteries is about his death. At first, people thought that he died of a disease. But then, as the archaeologist found that there was a hole on his head, they deduced that he was murdered by a blow to his head. However, recently, the scientists have brought out an idea that Tutankhamen was badly ill, and he died of a disease that he had got ever since he was born. The hole on his head was not made by a blow, instead, it was made when making his body into a mummy. It is rather hard to say which deduction is correct.
In addition, another mystery about Tutankhamen is about his tomb. It is said that there is a curse in the tomb, which is named “Curse of the Pharaohs”. It was carved on the tomb, saying “Death will slay with its wings whoever disturbs the peace of the pharaoh.” Many archeologists who had come into the tomb died strangely. Some people believe that it was the curse that made them die, while others think that there was a virus or germ in the tomb that caused their death. However, the truth remains unknown.
Besides these two mysteries mentioned above, there are still many other mysteries about Tutankhamen, which made the young pharaoh enigmatic. They have attracted many people’s eyes and it is also the reason why I am so interested in him.
By the way, there are many unexplained mysteries in the world. An article, named “Unexplained Mysteries of the World”, has talked about the top 10 unexplained mysteries of the world; which are, Crop Circles, the Pyramids of Egypt, Bigfoot, UFOs and Area 51, the Belmez Faces, the Out of Body Experience, the Mayan 2012 Prophecy, Stonehenge, Loch Ness Monster and Bermuda Triangle. I like your blog very much!!When I was younger, I was interested in stories about acient Egypt a lot. I have read a number of books on it and some of them are beautiful love stories adapted from stories of Ramesses. They left me deep impressions and good memories. Moreover, I once bought 2 thick books with more than 100 unexplained mysteries of the world. I think they benefited me a lot because they make me admire the Earth more deeply.
ReplyDeleteI used to be a fan of these unexplained mysteries of the world such that I read every book of this kind of topics that I could reach. As much as I read, I wanted to find the truth of these things. However, what I got was just some guesses instead of official answers. That was when my interest in them gradually faded away. Nevertheless, I still love to read your blog because it reminds me of my happiness in my childhood.
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in this topic as well.I have read many novels about Egyptian Pharaohs.I like Ramesses most for he had built a palace for his wife and carved some very romantic words for her, which really impresses me a lot.In the Egyptian history,Pharaoh is a mysterious and powerful exist,I always curious about them.I also think the curiosity about the mysteries is good, even though most of the time we can't really find the answers, the process of exploring can make us enjoy ourselves as well.I like your blog, which really reflects you are knowledgable.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the information. Interesting read. The Egyptians really have a mysterious past. How they preserved the corpses, build the pryramids, make us question where they would have got all this knowledge to do so. Their structures, be it pyramids or statues are all engineering feats.

ReplyDeleteI think your blog is quite interesting. I also enjoy reading the articles which talk about mysterious things. I can remember that when I was a child, I had a book called “the mysterious phenomena in the world”. I liked it very much. I firmly believe that in this world, there must have enormous territories our human beings do not know at all. Scientists have put painstaking effort to discover them; however, theories of some areas may be so advanced that are beyond our imagination; meanwhile, our contemporary technology limit us to make a deeper exploration. Compared with having a suspicious attitude towards these unknown areas, I prefer to respect such supernatural power. After all, we are still the kids who have merely picked up some shells besides the sea of knowledge.
ReplyDeleteI have heard about some of the Mysteries of Tutankhamen. It is really amazing. When I was young, I often bought some books about unsolved mysteries. To be honest, at that time, I was kind of terrified of those mysteries. But I could help reading them for they really attracted me.
