Love Actually…
Love actually is fearless. Love actually is
an apology. Love actually is forgiveness. Love actually is inspiration.
Actually, “Love Actually” is a Britain
movie I have just watched.
This movie is composed of ten stories. It
describes love from many aspects. A stepfather encouraged his little stepson to
chase after the lovely girl whom the boy liked. A wife forgave her husband for
his affair with his secretary. A man who was attracted by his friend’s wife
buried his love deeply in mind. A British man fell in love with a Portuguese
girl who cannot speak English. What is amazing is that the two, who had the
language barrier, had communication in mind. All the ten stories seemed to be
independent, but they are somehow related to each other.
What I have learned from this movie is that
love actually is all around. Nowadays, with the tremendous pressure, people
seem to be colder and are growing apart from others, and the world seems to be
full of complaints and hate. However, when that disaster descended on September
11th, 2001, people in the building, who clearly knew they were
dying, did not leave any words of hate to this world. In their last calls, they
told their friends and families how much they loved them and how much they
appreciated this world. This has inspired me a lot and has made me believe that
love actually is all around.
I have to say that I have wanted to watch Love Actually for a long time. However, it is a pity that till now, I have not got a chance to see it yet. I knew this film because my two favourite British actors, Martin Freeman and Alan Rickman, were in this film. Then I searched it on the Internet and found that it was a heart-warming film. The love of those ten couples (if I’m not mistaken) was so touching and moving. I am glad that you also like this film and I can’t agree with you more on the idea that love actually is all around us! (^O^)
ReplyDeleteLove is quite complex ; it can cause both good and bad things. However, I always believe that love is beautiful. Though love can cause hurt and sad stories, the process of it is full of hope. The movie you mentioned in the blog sounds quite interesting, I'd like to watch it some time. Thanks for your introduction. As for the "911" incidents, there are surely many touched stories.
ReplyDeleteLove, is too deep a word for me to understand, to describe and to put into practice, especially when it comes to the issue of BF or GF.However, what is sure in my mind is familiar with your opinion. That is love is actually around us. Everyday we are receiving and giving love. It's good to think so for it shows a positive attitude towards life of a single person. BTW, wish you find your true love in Singapore~haha
ReplyDeletelove is not just the love between a man an a woman. i don't mean there is also gay love, well, actually, there is. what i mean is there is also love betweeen human and substance. a short movie by chenkaige called deep in 100 flowers impressed me a lot. a man can not only love his wife or girlfriend, he can be so crazy about his memory.
ReplyDeleteOnly the person who has experienced love can tell that what it is like. Besides, different people have different opinions on that. But anyway, it must be a wonderful thing, I suppose. Yes, love is actually around us. What most people lack are just the eyes for discovering love. Anyway, I enjoy reading your blog very much and I am going to watch LIFE ACTUALLY... if I am free!
ReplyDeleteLove is around us and we need to use our eyes to find it and our heart to creat it. There are many kinds of love and we need the ability to distinguish them, because sometimes we may have trouble when we cannot treat different kinds of love correctly.Love has different level. Our attitude and action to different love affect our life. So love is also a kind of art.
ReplyDeleteYour beginning reminded me of the words in Bible, which also described and praised the preciousness of love. In fact, I still believe that there are more kind people in the world, as long as we are kind to other. Thank you for you blogger!
