Blog 3: Females=Males?-----The change of human being’s view of both genders

In the development of human being, although the natural ability of both genders did not change much, the view for males and females varied in different times.

People have a prejudice against females because of many reasons in the last several thousand years and even now. However, do you know that in the Stone Age, human being was in a society called Matrilineal Society, which means that the females were the leaders and they had a higher status? Thus, they were generally respected by males. I think the reason is that females were the builders of a group because they had the ability to give birth, so they could make the group united. Though they were not as strong as males, they could help develop the group with their gentle minds and special abilities.

However, thousand years ago, this situation changed. Males became leaders because human beings realized that they should have strong individuals to protect their groups and lead them to do tough things. Because of the advantages in bodies, the males became leaders. At that time, there was no prejudice against females because both genders had their own abilities and works to do.

In contrast, when human being stepped into feudal society, rulers set up a hierarchy system which made the females in a lower social position in order to solidify their domination. Consequently, unfair time of females began. Females suffered a lot in the past because of the greed of males. They were the victims of politics and strongly eager for equality in a long period.

Finally, with the struggle from generation to generation and the regain of most males’ conscience, the females obtain the same rights as males in some way in most parts of the world. However, human being still has a long way to go in genders’ equality because of the deep inveteracy of some proud males.

Actually, many females have proved with their great achievements that they can do many things as well as males and they are no longer the weaker ones because both genders have advantages over the other one.

I hope that both genders can act the right roles and cooperate with each other, and then our society will have bigger progress.

Blog 3: Love you more than I can say

What are the most frequent words that you can find out in American movies?

"I LOVE YOU", I suppose.

What are the rarest words that we use in China?

"I LOVE YOU" , as far as I consider.

China used to be a conservative country, which made "love" a sensitive word to express feelings. Take my family for example, we have never said these three words to each other before, but true love is always there.

What is love? The question is a little difficult for me to answer as I experienced so little, but having brought up by my parents for 18 years, I think I have the right to share my opinions about love in a family. It has something common with water: soft, clean, and honest.

Soft: You can hardly be moved deeply by some certain romantic behavior in your family, but every day there are warmth to welcome you home: a simple but delicious dinner; a short but comfortable conversation. You may not find it exciting, but you must admit that it is indispensable.

Clean: True love needs no additive. I enjoyed expensive toys and snacks when I was young and my parents earned quite enough money; I also learned to economize my pocket money afterwards for my father's factory was closed. This did not influence my attitude towards my parents. In my view, money cannot buy love or there will be no conflicts in some big wealthy family. Love is like water and money is like sugar; if you put them together, it may taste good, but you will never quench your thirsty.

Honest: There is one sentence my father once told me and I will never forget: If you slip into the river, I will jump into the water to save you, notwithstanding that I may die. My mother also said something impressive before I left for Singapore: We can do anything and we can give up anything if only you can have a happy life. They meant what they meant, then I know something deeper about love: If you can say these two sentences to someone honestly, he will live in your heart forever.

That is love: soft, clean and honest, just like water.

Have you ever said "I love you" to your parents? I have not, and may not in the future.

The fact is that nothing in the world worth my love as the love to them.

Like water stream through gullies, I will love them quietly and gently.

Blog3:Gender Roles, Nature or Nurture

People generally hold the viewpoint that there exists clear distinctions between sexes, which are a nature phenomenon as a result of biological factors. However, from my perspective, these allegedly differences are constructed by all kinds of socializing agents and forces in society.

The primary reason to support my opinion is the fact that gender roles vary across culture and time, which sufficiently proves that most differences are nurtured by the social circumstances, rather than genes exclusively. To be more specific, the stereotypes of the male and the female changed over the changes in society, while the nature factors linked to them actually stay the same in such a short time. Therefore, most differences between the male and the female are the result of gender roles in a specific environment, rather than the cause.

Admittedly, according to some researches, physical differences do exist generally between males and females. However, the specific character of an individual is hard to define simply by the general traits of one gender. Thus, it is not necessary to stress too much on the differences for the reason that most character of a person is developed in his postnatal life.

In conclusion, I think the character of a person is mainly nurture rather than nature.

blog 3: superstition and belief

It used to be a peaceful and beautiful town. One day, everything changed. The small town was filled by a thick fog in which there were many kinds of blood-drinking monsters. Some people who were shopping at that time were stranded in a supermarket. As time went by, a kind of fear spread from one person to another. A woman who believed in the God started to impart the others that it was the God that came to punish human beings because people had done a quantity of crime to the nature. The God was going to make human buy what they had owed him. The woman also stressed that no one should be against this and that everyone was asked to be waiting for death. At first, only few people believed in the woman. But subsequently at that night, some monsters attracted by the light bumped into the room and killed several people. Most of the people were freaked out and some of them changed to be apt to accept the woman’s words. A superstition was given birth since then. A person is apt to become dizzy when he faces a huge fear. The superstition seems like a distraction which can bring relief to fresh lives. Nevertheless, we also are trying our best to become a brilliant person and be respected by others. What if we found ourselves stupid at one time? We are surely to feel shameful and spare no effort to sweep out the blots, which we could avoid at the beginning. What can we do when we are in fear? Just go to bed and enjoy your slumber. It is a more efficient way to get rid of the fear and we can also skip the superstition then.

Blogger 3: The Happy Journey to the MacRitchie Reservoir

    Last Friday, I visited the  MacRitchie Reservoir with my group members. It was really a fantastic experience and we all enjoyed it a lot.It was the first time for me to paddle a boat in Singapore and was the first trip organized by our group monitors.
    Just before the Friday, we took a progress test which had kept us nervous and worried for a long time, so we decided to relax and refresh ourselves. We proposed, discussed,voted,and finally chose to go boating in the reservoir. After waiting anxiously for days, we set out for our destination.
    It was really hot that day, but the hot weather could not stop our paces. It took us one and a half hours to take the MRT and then change to a bus to get there. Finally, the bus stopped. Upon we jumped out of the bus, we were greeted by so many tall trees and grassy areas. The environment in Singapore is always so good that we can even see monkeys in the trees around the reservoir. We rented six boats and every two of us shared one. We put on our life jackets and got into the small boats, so the little voyage started.
    Floating on the clean water, I rowed the paddle to keep the boat moving. I quite enjoyed the fresh soft breeze that blew me gently. As the boat gradually moved to the center of the reservoir, I stopped paddling and lay on the boat, just looking at the blue sky quietly. When I was enjoying the peace both in the surroundings and in my heart, some cool water was poured to me and my friends burst into laughter because of their tiny tricks. I fought back as fast as possible, and soon all of us were wet from top to toe. We played together, we sang together, we laughed together and we enjoyed the time with each other.
    After the paddling, we played games under trees just like that we were still children in primary schools. For a long time, I have not felt such naivete trueness.
   Happy moments always seem to be too short. Soon the sunset make the sky redder and darker. The happy journey ended but the happiness it brought us will be always kept in our memory, and so it is with the friendship in our heart.

Blog 3:would you like to use Internet for romance?

For most of us, I think, it is wrong to start a romance with the Internet, however, the word"develop" is not equal to the word"start".
So, I would like to use the Internet to develope the romance with the premise that I have known that person well. First of all, since I have known that girl well(because I am a boy), it is quite safe for me to get along with her. Besides, I think if I could use the internet properly, I could save a lot of time. For example, if I really like that girl, I would think a lot about her in case that I do not chat with her for a comparatively long time. So, at this time I would spend much time to go out with that girl. However, if we can chat with each other online frequently, the waste of time could be avoided, in that every time I have a short chat with her, I will get calm and put my attention on my job. Last but not least, the Internet could help us save torrents of money. Especially for us boys. When we are getting along with girls, it is necessary for us to give them some things to show our sincerity. Of course, it will take us much money, whereas in the Internet, there is a large amount of virtual thing which we do not need to pay for the use of them. So in my opinion, if used properly, the internet can bring us many benefits when we are developing our romances.
With all of those things, I think it is wonderful to use the Internet for romance.

Blog 3:Trust the Internet or not

Up to now, I still have not had entire faith in the Internet. It results from several deceptions that my relatives and families have ever encountered. For instance, once my aunt wanted to buy a blouse from the Internet. Unfortunately, several months after she had paid, she received nothing but a package, which she afterwards found it stuffed with waste cloth. Furthermore, my father used to tell me: “You can believe anything but that on the Internet.” He thought that as the Internet itself was a virtual product, that on the Internet must be unreal and meaningless, too. I admit that he is kind of assertive; however, I agree with him to some extent.

Take loves on the Internet for example. I believe that it is hard to find my special one on the Internet, for each pieces of information including the photo can be artificial. You may think that I am conservative but I still insist that how can I get interested in a person without knowing the truth about her. As I consider, true love is based on the integrity- in other words, both sides should not have anything to conceal unless it is better to tell white lies.

Once the two people have known each other, they want to express their loves to each other on the Internet. Some people choose to send virtual gifts like roses, cakes, even Benzes and Lamborghinis. However, in my opinion, these virtual gifts are not better than a written letter filled with love because they are not things produce with one’s own effort. Although a letter is just a piece of paper which is not that valuable, it did show one’s love for another person because of every affectionate sentence he or she writes. As for virtual gifts, what they cost you are just several clicks of your mouse; do you think that a simple click of your mouse can stand for your thick love for your beloved?

Of course, we cannot deny that the Internet has made unprecedented progress in enhancing the quality of our life, but at times I still prefer the old-fashion way. New things are not always good while old things are not always bad, as I consider.

Blog 2: Enjoy Real Music, Enjoy Music Really

I cannot play the piano for you, I cannot play the guitar for you. I have never performed in public. It doesn’t matter. I just enjoy music by myself, I just recreate by myself, I am not in order to win the applause.

Maybe you are a tone-deaf, maybe you cannot remember the whole lyric, maybe you only can whistle. It doesn’t matter. Just to enjoy the music. Don’t care about others.

One of my friends once said, ‘I was shy to sing a song before because I can’t sing well. But afterwards, I thought I sang just to make myself happy, not others. So there is no need to care about others. Go damn their ridicule.’ ‘Yes! You are right. ’I said to him.

After lunch, a cup of green tea and the light music, bring your heart and soul enjoyment. Or take a nap after lunch with your favorite songs.

It is not necessary to sing at KTV. With your friends, bottles of beer, chat together and sing a song respectively or together.

Whether you music player is expensive or cheap, your headset is Sony or an unknown brand, compared to enjoying the music, they are insignificant.

Whenever and wherever, sing a song or whistle a song if you want.

Blog 3: Please Respect Those Who Love You

Last night, I watched CBA All-star Games on the Internet, which killed about three hours. I preferred to watch games rather than learn English or something. I wasted valuable time, but what did I get from it. A fantastic and exciting game? No! Players go all out in work for an award? No!

Well, in the Arising Star Challenge Game, young players played pretty well, they focused all attention and energy on the game, which showed youth’s passion and vigour. Nevertheless, in the next games---Technique Challenge and Dunk Challenge, oh, my god, what the hell were they doing? They dribbled so slowly like a snail.  No, the snails walk slowly as they cannot speed up, but they desired to walk faster. On the contrary, our players, they could have run even faster, but they do not do that. I could not see their desire to triumph. They didn’t treat a game as a game. The audiences spent money on a game to enjoy themselves in the weekend. They believed players they loved could show their skills and competence reveal fully to make a wonderful game. They made a blunder.

Of course, we have to acknowledge, compared to NBA player, Chinese players just like pupil. In NBA All-Star Games, players, whether he is a superstar like Kobe Bryant or ordinary star like Williams thing, they show what they can do heart and soul as they know audience love them and their games. They respect those who love them and they don’t want to disappoint them. This is basic professional spirit an athlete should obey. But I think many players in CBA have lost it, even they have not it at the beginning.

So, respect those who love you.

Blog3:My reflections on the film '3 idiots'

'3 idiots',as the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time in India, is the eternal classic in people's impression.Because of the superficial and unattractive title, this excellent film has been neglected for a long time by most people.Honestly saying,this film hasn't waste any minute during its 164 minutes.So I want to introduce this film to you and show some of my reflections on this film.

Raju,Farhan and Rancho are 3 engineering students studied in Imperial College of Engineering(ICE) in India.They're roomates.ICE is famous for the marks of its students and the rigid and strict educational rules have badly influenced many students which even lead some suicide events.Raju is studying for raising his family and makes them get out of the poverty.Farhan studies engineering bacause it's his father's dream over his own dream of being a wildlife photographer.Only Rancho learns engineering bacause of his natural passion to the machines. Rancho has a great talent in engineering, he can always make some miracles not only get his classmates convinction but also move his instructor.

There are really some hilarous moments when they are with each other.Under the strict criteria and the pressure of their instructor, they don't lose passion to life and to the things they're keen on.Finally,with Rancho's encouragement, Raju overcame his feer to engineering and succeeded in an significant interview of a big firm, Farhan got up the courage to pursuad his father then bacame a famous photographer, meanwhile,Rancho himself,kept his aspire to engineering and eventually became an admirable scientists.

This movie can lead you into a different world with both laughter and tears.You can always cry at the last second and then laugh at the next second.Though the '3 idiots' exist as an inspirational film,it can present a new appearance to audience.The interesting but deep plots attract the audience so much.The film just wants us to believe that success in studying is not achieved by solely memorizing definitions given by textbooks or professors, but by understanding and applying the concepts. Moreover, one should follow excellence of one's own, not success, as success will come itself if excellence is followed.I think that's the truth showed by this film.

I believe everyone can be a good dancer. I like dancing very much, although I am heavy and not flexible. I like it not only for its beautiful gesture and energetic music but also for the way to show emotions.I think dance is the best way to show your feelings. Your happiness, your sadness, your angry, your energy, your pain, your love no matter what feelings you have, you can say it out by dancing .

While in our daily life there are few people who know dance well. Dance is one of the best athletics for all kinds of people. No matter how old are you. And it doesn't matter if your figure is great. You will be a good dancer as well as you try. Just like Pasha who has had a great grade in the TV show "So you think you can dance" You cannot believe that he started to learn dance when he was twenty years old.

I think the reason why so many people are not willing to try is that they are afraid of being embarrassing. They worry about what if they can't dance well. I think the pleasure of dance is the feeling when you dance. Just enjoy it, there is no need to think what others think.

Blog 3 : the secret in photography

The secret I find in photography is inspiring. I fell in love with it at the first time when I saw the fabulous moment captured on a delicate piece of photo. 

Nevertheless, the magic world it brings never stops at this point where just taking a shot is seemingly enough. It means far more than a picture, rather than a special skill. It belongs to art, the most beautifully decorated thing in the world, which well accompanied by enhanced technology. With the purpose to take fantastic photos, I tried to buy super- class camera powered by intelligent calculating system and advanced light sensor. Then the problems came that all the pictures I took were vague in meanings despite great deal of detail included. My camera was no one to blame for I saw many pictures taken by this camera were wonderful, but I was. 

I thought about my problem over and over again during day and night, yet it still did not work out. As I mentioned above, it belongs to art. Without emotional decoration, it could not be called a fine picture. 

One day I encountered a photo. There were many footprints following after a couple, who were walking hand in hand. Then a strong feeling of happiness arose in my mind, remaining for a long time, and never fade. Subsequently, I began to realize what photography is. It is the art of capturing our happy moment and showing the emotion hidden behind the superficial image.

 I believe this is the secret of photography, which inspires me a lot and helps me to enjoy life, with happy-finding eyes energized by my romantic heart.

Long long ago, there was an old dog .He had been with his master the old man for fifteen years .They are good friends .The old man was so old that his wife and all his friends had passed away .He lived with this dog instead of his son .Every day these friends would go for a walk in the park until one day when both the old man and dog broke down .The old man's son sent the old man to hospital and found a veterinarian who can understand dog's language to give the old dog best care .To the veterinarian's surprised, these friends were not just like what people thought they were .Every day they would say "Go to hell !" to each other .The old dog said that they all wished the other one die as soon as possible and they cursed each other every minutes .The old dog became weaker and weaker .At the end of his life he wanted to stay in the park which he usually go .Sun was falling down .At this moment, The old man showed up nearly unconsciously .He tied the dog and went for a walk as usual ."Go to hell! You are the last one alive .Go to hell!" the old man said to dog. "You should be the person dead geezer." "Don't pretend .I know the fact that you are going to die." "Just so so." "What an annoying guy!" "I beg you go to hell geezer!" .Memory flooding back, the first time when the old man met the dog, he talked to dog "Hey, guy, I want you be my best friend .The friend should not make friend sad and cry .We swear to each other that do not leave friend in lonely and sorrow .So go to hell my best friend." With tears out, the old dog said to the man "Enough .Enough. Don’t treat yourself like this .If I die, you will feel better .But I cannot do that .I cannot do that! Go to hell geezer" The old man and the old dog fell down at the same moment .The heart of dog stop beating .The old man struggled to stand and said "I win .Old guy, you make your friend cry, idiot!" Blog3: we should learn from Jeremy Shu-How Lin

These days, many Chinese people are proud of a basketball player named Jeremy Shu-How Lin. I think the reasons for the success of Lin can be concluded into two aspects.

Firstly, Lin has a great talent for playing basketball. There is no denying that the talent plays a pivotal role in individual career, especially in the sporting territory. This point can be accurately illustrated with the example of Michael Jordan, a great or even the best basketball player on this planet; when he was a boy, the height of his bounce was even twice times than his peer’s; in addition, his body could efficiently converted food into muscle while others may almost convert their food into cholesterol. Thus, when fans called Jordan “the god of basketball”, it was not only a compliment for his great effort, but also his unique physical quality. Although in many ways, it seems to be meaningless to make a comparison between Lin and Jordan, they all have an essential gift for playing basketball. This gift, indeed, helps Lin to be successful.

Then, the second factor is his effort. As a typical Chinese American, he has neither a robust body nor amazing bounce ability; however, he has a brave heart, which timely gives him motivation when he fails and never let him give up. Although graduating from Harvard, the best university in the world, he was a failure in the NBA before he joined the New York Knicks; actually, he was ever fired by three teams and even seldom got a chance to play in the pitch; in spite of this, he never gave in to the fate. I think his success is not a coincidence; on the contrary, he deserved this glory, since hard work should pay off.

I think we should learn from Lin. Whatever we do, we should spare no effort to accomplish it, no matter how difficult it is. We also should keep a balance between sports and study. For instance, Lin distributed a great deal of time playing basketball, but he did not jeopardize his study, as he nearly got a full mark in the SAT. Perhaps this is the reason why Harvard decided to admit him. Of course we should not indiscriminately worship Lin, but I think Lin’s experience can give us a lot of enlightenment.

The theme of this week reminds me of a song called ”Any Man of Mine”, which describes a perfect man who falls in love with someone. I find something interesting from the lyric.

“Any man of mine better be proud of me.
Even when I'm ugly he still better love me”

When people love someone, they are always proud of partners.They often regard their partners as priceless treatures. However, their attitude towards treasures can be quite different. Some may be willing to show how brilliant their partners are while others may cherish them in mind.



"Any man of mine'll say it fits just right
When last year's dress is just a little too tight
And when I cook him dinner and I burn it black
He better say, mmmm, I like it like that yeah"


Love is blind. When people fall in love, they can hardly see their partners’ shortcomings. People think their pateners are pretty even when they look like a mess. Everything they say is right.

Love makes many things forgivable.There are times when we think we will never forgive people who cheat on us. However, things may change after we fall in love with someone. It is true that we have our own principles, but we always want to find excuses for their dishonest behaviors because we hope they are innocent.

Love causes envy. I have to admit that love really brings bad effects,such as envy. People can do crazy things when they are jealous of others.That is why trust is important.If we trust our partners and ourselves, love will not cause jealousy anymore.

Blog 3: Can You Afford a Love with A Distance of Thousands of Miles?

In the world of Chinese students, it is always a problem that what we should do when we are separated from our boyfriends or girlfriends because of study or other factors. Many couples keep their relationship successfully. However, more couples break up after a certain time of suffering. So what are the right things to do for students in this awkward situation?

From my perspective, the first thing to do is to question yourself: can the feeling between you and your lover be called love. Or it is just a kind of affection or just a kind of capital to show off. If your answer is no, then there is no need to maintain the relationship. What’s more, you should reflect why you childishly invest your deep emotion into something which is not called love. However, if your answer is yes, that is a completely different thing.

In my opinion, in this situation, you should spare no effort to maintain, to develop your relationship with her or him who is thousands of miles away from you. It could be hard or even suffering to get through the difficulties caused by distance, but love itself is never an easy thing to achieve. You must have the belief in your mind that as long as you try hard to keep in touch with your lover, to maintain the relationship with him or her, the electricity feeling between you two will never disappear. In some cases, one side of the couple quit their love in the so-called reasons of that there will be no end for their love with all the barriers. But what they say is nothing but excuses. They are just cowards who do not have the courage to face the necessary difficulties in love. What they lost is not just a piece of relationship but also can be the happiness for the whole life.

So, if you are far away from your lover, or if you will be like this in a future day, please consider my words. It is not only a kind of theoretic speech; it is the words from a person who was in regret for something he did.

Blog 3: A Sad Love Story

Once in this cold, perplexing world lived an ordinary girl called Selene together with her parents. They lived a poor but happy life.

However, when Selene was 17 years old, she found herself losing memory step by step. This is because she had ever protected a butterfly who is actually a princess who was being cursed. The curse transferred to Selene, making her lose her soul as time went by. Selene had an ominous foreboding and she was very sad because she thought there are so many beautiful things in the world which she didn’t taste. So she begged her parents to let her to travel around the world. As her wish was so strong, her parents had no choice but to agree.

After many months spent on the journey, Selene got to a small town one day. That day happened to be a bazaar day. At that time, the poor girl had already forgotten all the things apart from love and sympathy. While Selene was wandering in the street, her attention was attracted by a puppet left in the corner with its eyes full of sadness. His ugly face and strange body might explain its situation that no one wanted to get close to it. Teardrops fell from the girl’s eyes. At this moment, a fairy appeared, and she told the girl that the puppet is actually a prince trapped by a witch’s curse. The fairy also said she could help the prince become human again, but all magic came with a price, it needed the thing that Selene cherished most. Without hesitation, the girl gave out her love.

The puppet soon changed into a handsome prince. The prince lost his heart to Selene at the first sight. If it’s a pure fairy tale, the story may go like this: the prince married Selene and they lived a happy life ever after. However, don’t forget one important thing-Selene had no love left, so when the prince proposed to her, she ran away. Nothing could help the situation because it was the price of magic. From then on, no one saw the poor girl again.

Blog 3：Shmily

I think many of you must have known this word—Shmily. There are a few stories about it. Now I would like to share two of them.

The first story is about a couple who loved each other very much. A boy found that his grandparents played a special game every day: they wrote the word “Shmily” on every place and let the other to find. “Shmily” popped out every where in the house. The boy was confused by the meaning of this word, but he could see the love his grandparents shared, as they expressed their emotions in all parts of their daily life—the grandmother always say that how charming and handsome her husband was and the grandfather loved to share a hug or kiss with her frequently. Although all these actions showed how deep they loved each other, the boy still did not get the meaning of the word until his grandmother’s death. On the funeral, the grandfather sang a song sadly, and from it the boy finally understood the word—S-H-M-I-L-Y: “See How Much I Love You”.

The other one was about two young lovers. An outgoing girl had a boyfriend who was too shy to show her his love. With the hope that the boy might change, the girl wrote “Shmily” on all his books to hint at him. However, the boy did not understand the word, so he did nothing. Angrily and sadly, the girl left the boy. Even so, they still kept the love for each other in their hearts for a long time. Many years later, the boy became an old man. One day he walked along a street and saw a flower shop whose name was “Shmily”. Then, he went into the shop with thoughts and feelings filling his heart. In the shop, he saw a young girl with warm smile just like his girl. In a shaking voice, he asked what the meaning of “Shmily” was. The girl told him that she saw the word in her one of her grandmother’s books, and “Shmily” meant “Say How Much I Love You”.

These two stories explained “Shmily” in two different ways. And I think both of them are heartwarming. The first story shows us the deep love between an old couple and the first explanation is so heartwarming. Nevertheless, the second story is a sad one and from it people may learn something important; that is, instead of making a puzzle, the lovers should try to show their love in a direct way, otherwise it might cause a lifelong regret.

Blog 2: Why I like Staying Up Late

I’ve always been having the habit of staying up late. I still remember when I was about 4 or 5 years old, I could still be singing karaoke at home energetically nearly midnight. Because my personality was really stubborn at that time, nobody succeeded in persuading me staying at the kindergarten. In this case, I could sleep till noon the next day. Till now, I still like sleeping very late the day before any holiday even the weekends. For instance, last night I didn’t go to bed until 2:30 in the morning. And today I want to give some of my reasons for why I like staying up late a lot~~~~

Maybe the first reason is that I like silence during late nights. The total peace around makes me feel that the whole world was asleep, which gets me feel really safe and calm. Whatever confusing me during the day will always come to a solution after a deep consideration at night. It’s really amazing. What’s more, the quiet atmosphere could greatly improve my studying efficiency.

Though I don’t know why, many of my classmates have admitted that midnights are best time for coming up with new ideas about creating art works. What we thought out at that time sometimes even will surprise ourselves. Thus usually I will paint some drafts at that time.

Last one I want to say is  that during late nights when you are trying some pieces of music which you thought you will never fall in love before, you may probably change your ideas and begin to feel their beauty hidden for a long time. Late nights give me great patience.

Unfortunately, staying up too late is not a good habit, which may cause great damage to our health, and now I’m on the way of getting rid of this habit~~~

Blog 2 : the passion in my heart

The passion in my heart

We will always live a life as normally as others do, unless we add passion to it. With great passion, we can do things without hesitation and regret. Passion is a kind of energy，which can generate our inner desire to try and finish something. For me, I have a passion for photography.

As a photography lover, I enjoy to invest my time and strength for it, because I believe this type of investment will contribute to my mental health. That is to say, my mind can be well fulfilled by taking pictures. My passion indeed provides me with many chances to take a good shot. For example, I happened to come outside from my hostel and saw the beautiful sun set. Without hesitation and great passion, I instantly decided to come back my room and take my camera with me. Then I gave a great shot of the splendid scenery. If I hesitated to do so, I would have never captured that appealing moment. However, sometimes my passion does not offer me a good feedback, but I do not regret. The other day an idea occurred to me that I wanted to capture the sunrise. Subsequently I got myself well prepared and packed all the related equipment together, and then I fell asleep early only to assure I could get up early enough before the sunrise. The unfortunate was that when I went downstairs, I only found myself locked in a non-electricity door! I waited there for ten minutes expecting some security guard could come by and help me out, however, no single person came! Although the situation was that terrible, I still not regret. My passion inside told me I could make a wonderful shot the next time. It makes me think positively rather than complain about the misfortune.

To think further, if I have my passion for my life, I reckon I will be more self-motivated to liven up my every moment, no matter whether it is with ease or trouble. I hope I could have everyday accompanied by passion!
