Blog1:Courage
Taylor Swift once said in her Speak Now Live Concert that"Real life is a funny thing you know.we regret for the moments we didn't speak out,or we didn't say I love you,or should have said I'm sorry. So there is time for silence and there's a time waiting for your turn. But if you know how you feel and you are so clearly know what you need to say,you know it .I don't think you should wait,I think you should speak now." Others will never know what we feel inside unless we speak it out. I used to be so shy and feel unease to talk with new people around me and I could only play with those I was familiar to naturally. Therefore, I missed a lot of really good people and I felt so depressed. This kind of situation didn't changed until I met my best friend in high school. She is outgoing, active and we and at that time wholly different person.I still remember when she was giving a speech in front of the class she said:Just chase whatever you love and never give up, miracles happens at all time.At that time I realize it's time for me to change because I don't want to lose anyone anymore.
This topic again reminds me of my oral report. We all need to have the courage to say I love you to the person we really want no matter who he or she is,no matter what opinions others are holding towards you.
Life is too short, never let anything we love slip away.
That's all~~~~^-^
I felt what I wrote above is a little bit out of topic~haha~
Blog 1: Why I Like to Learn English
Blog 1:My Experience about Learning English
As I entered junior middle school, things changed. We had dictation regularly and were forced to listen to the tape everyday. Far from involving games, the course focused more on grammar. To some extent,I’m bored with English during that period. Although the English class was monotonous,I took it serious, which helped me to build a strong foundation for my further study.
After that,I came to high school, where I started to love English songs and movies. Since some sentences can hardly be translated into Chinese specifically,I came up with the idea to understand the meaning by myself instead of relying on the caption. It was a tough task. However, owe to my efforts in junior middle school,it was not untouchable but challenging to me. The more time I spent on English, the more interested I felt. Gradually,I did not only learn English for the convenience of watching film ,but for interest as well. In general,I began to love English!
The whole process is incredible but it has truly happened. Even now I can not tell the reason why I love English exactly, but I guess the charm of English will come out provided people are willing to learn it.
blog1:Why we need to study English well?
Hello, everyone. This time I want to share my points about the reasons that why we should study English well with you.
At first, I think if we want to acknowledge English speaking countries’ history better, it calls for this skill. Because they regard English as a mother language, and they log everything in English, of course history is no exception. It is impossible for us to have an overall comprehension upon it if we even can not understand the meaning of words. Some people may say that they can read it after translating, but as far as I am concerned, translators often put their own emotion into translation, that is to say, sometimes we may get confused by them. I think history is the root of one country, and it often decides people’s way of thinking and their judgment of value. So if we are good at one country's history , we will have access to understand this country better.Having a multicultural view can teach us to ponder a question from different angles, melt the barrier and misunderstanding between different countries. This is one reason that force us to study English well.
The other reason is that a good English skill is an essential element for people who are eager to build up an international horizon. As we all know, English is an international language. Learning English well makes it convenient for us know your foreign buddies’ idea, then, we can assimilate their points, convert them into our own knowledge. In this way, not only can we broaden our eyes, but also rich our brain. There is no doubt that this is a good chance for us to become more competitive. Everyone what to be a winner in this society, so studying English just like a investment ,the more effort you put in, maybe the more revenue you will get! This is a strategic measure for our self-development.
Finally I want to say that we should never ignore the importance of learning English. Definitely, we need to study English well!
Blog1: Why I Love English?——The Growth of My Love
As a student who studies English with a lot of energy and happiness every day, I can say that I love English. When it refers to the reason why I love English, the first answer that comes into my mind is that it is a wonderful feeling that cannot be spoken out easily.
However, every love has a process of development, you cannot say you love a thing without a good knowledge of it. So I will date back to the time when I first contacted with English. When I was in primary school, there was a subject called “English”. When I saw the strange letters and words which are totally different from Chinese characters, I had an urge to master it. I thought I could contact with a new world with it.
Because of the urge, I began to study English hard. Reading English passages, listening to English songs, reciting English words and doing English exercises became a part of my live. As time went by, this pure urge became my love. With the development of my English level, I found a lot of fresh things in English. I knew about English history and English culture. I can even imagine the English
people’s characters through their habitual conversations and way to talk. A wonderful country came into my mind. I loved it! What’s more, I got high grades in English and it became my advantage over others and even my proud thing.
Now love for English becomes a natural thing of me. English enriches my childhood, companies with my childhood, gives me good grades and makes who I am now. That is why I love English.

Blog 1:On The Way of Learning English
However, when I moved into the middle school, things seem to get changed, while I started to realize that English is not just about greeting people in some specific sentences. But we were supposed to read and recite numerous materials which are either complicated or impractical. Besides, the English grammar of which I cannot even found any sense confused me a lot. However, under the enormous pressure of the English examination, we have to push ourselves strongly to learn it rather than regard it as an interest anymore. That is just like a nightmare.
When we entered our high school, since all of our courses get harder and harder, we even did not have adequate time spent in learning English. Fortunately, our English teacher changed our attitude towards learning English completely. He is so logical and smart that he managed to let us fall in love with grammar. Not until he started teaching us English grammar did I found how amazing it is that grammar makes this language logical and well-organized, which absolutely adding much courage and confidence to me. Besides, he let our system of English learning shift from being driven by the heavy strain to studying on our own initiative. For example, he would play some English movies and songs which are so attractive that we would try our best to recite the lines and the lyrics actively. Thanks to him, now I can study English with a great passion.
Gradually, I found that it is not the content but the methods of learning English that value. On the way of learning English, I really gained a lot.
Blogger 1: Who am I ?
I try to solve the problem which is the easiest to raise but the hardest to answer. Now, two days later, as far as I am concerned, people should not be just divided into several types for as human beings, we all have our own complex personalities which are too various to be classified. One can be both modest or proud, active or shy.As our classmate Daquan often says: It all depends.I think it is a very bright and crafty answer. Something in the world should not be only judged by certain standards which are, I think, one-sided.
Return to the title, that is really a difficult question to answer. If I have to answer, then, the only choice may be:Well, it all depends.
So, my dear readers, who are you?
who knows me?
for example,on the first day,i was willing to participate in every activity, but, the second time i felt embarrassed to show myself in public.you could think that i am just interested in fresh things, but i can never agree with you.for the years,i have been like this.at times,i am active, and i am in a high enthusiam in everything,no matter what it is.but, after a few weeks,i will get quiet. i would prefer to keep my ideas in my heart.it seems that there is a fixed time when i will change into another person.
the day befor yesterday, with the help of Ms Waheeda ,we do an activity, which needs to pick put the things we prefer to do.everyone chosed the items easily, however,i simply could not pick out what i like to do.it seems that i have ever done everythig presented,so it is really hard for me to choose one of them. i am a boy, butwhy i change frequently?(in china, the girl changes frequently i think)
i think it must be a long way for me to fingure out myself, but,i do think it is a good thing.i will keep seeking for myself until i find the area i belong to.

Blog 1:Learning English from Movies and TV Series
Above all, watching interesting movies and TV series can surely help us to be more interested in learning English. Take myself as an example, I am fond of the BBC TV series Sherlock, and I have watched it for more than three times. While watching it again and again, I began to focus on the way the characters talk and communicate, and I found it quite interesting. Recently, I have even tried to learn the tones and the rhythms of speaking English from the TV series. It is true that a movie or TV series we like can encourage us to learn English well.
Besides, movies and TV series can help us with our vocabulary, especially the vocabulary for daily conversation. We all know that in our text books or some other materials, it may not be easy for us to learn some phrases and expressions which native speakers normally used in their daily life. So it can be quite odd when we use some writing English in our communications. However, in the movies and TV series produced by American or British, we can not only learn some new words or phrases, but also learn the situations that the words and phrases are used. Because of that, we may use them more properly.
The last but not the least, watching English movies and TV series also provide us a chance to improve our listening skills. While watching English movies or TV series, some of us may still have to rely on the Chinese subtitles. But if we want to improve our listening skills, we should try to understand all the characters say without the help of subtitles. Perhaps it might be difficult at first, but if we keep on doing this, it can be quite useful for our listening.
All in all, I believe that watching English movies and TV series benefits us a lot. We can not only enjoy ourselves but also gain knowledge from it, so why not watch some interesting movies or TV series in our spare time?

blog1:something about American education and Chinese education.
Actually,we can't deny that Chinese students also have a colorful extracurricular life.Take mine for example,in my senior high school,we have 78 associations of many kinds for students to relax and improve their social skills. However, the heavy pressure that Chinese students should face make it impossible for us to run the associations as well and professionally as American contemporaries do.
I think all these come from different education conceptions and social environments of the two countries.American education pays more attention to students' characteristics and wants to maximise their potential.Chinese people believe that graduates from good universities can surely find better jobs. This kind of thought causes Chinese schools focus too much on students' examination results.
Nevertheless, this doesn't mean American education method is superior to Chinese counterpart. In fact, there are so many shortcomings of it.For instance,America has one of the highest dropout rates in the industrialized world.Every 26 seconds, there is one kid dropping out of high school in the USA.(from:
Above all,I think we can come to a conclution that there is no such thing as the best way to teach adolescents. However,as the nation's future may depend on how well we educate the current and future generations, every country should continue seeking the most appropriate way for education.
Blog 1 :The Chinese education in my eyes
I must say that it's really lucky for me to be chosen as one of the SM3 student. In my position, there is still a long distant for China to improve the education system.
As we all know, the four years in university could be the most important period in one's life. University is actually a smaller and easier society where people start building their own views about life and friends. In that place, the majors students choose will directly determine the job which they will have in the future.
America has many top-class universities. These are really tough places for students because everybody here are burning their energy for knowledge and bright futures. There is no time for movies, shopping, or hanging out with beautiful girls. Nobody can even have a good sleep as a result of a huge amount of reading missions and researches. But it is these universities that send thousands of genius to all over the world every year.
But there is something wrong with the universities in China. Students no longer concern about their courses and homework. They waste their time relaxing and the only thing to force them to read books is examination. This serious problem i think is caused by the national entrance examination, which called GaoKao in China. It will be taken by millions of students per year, but only some of the students will pass and go to the university which is determined by their marks. So this makes students, teachers and parents really nervous. In a child’s senior high, junior high and even primary school, there is no time for playing and relaxing. The only thing they are required to do is study for a higher mark to go to an ideal university. As a result, students spend about twelve years working very hard for nothing but GaoKao and once they pass they will think it’s the time to relax. That’s the reason why most universities in China seem like places for dating and playing rather than studying.
For many years have the Chinese experts wondered why Chinese university students are not as creative and smart as these in America though Chinese can do much more better when they are young. I think it’s very clear: We Chinese spend the time for playing on studying and spend the time for improving on relaxing. There is nothing i can criticize on GaoKao because it may be the only way for China to choose better students for universities. But it is really necessary to change some rules such as set more optional lessons related to the majors in university and few lessons about math and chemistry to help students choose major. It’s also important for universities to learn something from the western countries so as to improve the students’ passion for studying, for example, it’s a good idea to separate the degree into three levels. In my view, only big changes can make big efforts.
I do hope some transformations can be taken as soon as possible. I do hope there is no longer a child complaining about a boring and tired childhood in my hometown. The Chinese education system has still a long way to go, but I believe it will become wonderful soon. I wish China will be stronger and stronger.

Blog 1: Forage for Food on Your Own
On 9th January 2012, we group one had a heated discussion on the topic of the school and education. I could tell from the exciting classroom atmosphere that everyone had taken an active part in it and we had started to think about something on our own and express it out properly, which was quite different from the way we learn before, in my opinion.
In China, I kept in step closely with my teachers and only received what they stated in front of me. How much I learnt depended on how much they taught. This pattern of teaching is called "spoon feeding", which I think will surely kill the students' imagination and innovation ability. Students taught in this method would have starved to death without their teacher.
So what's the solution of this issue? There is an ancient Chinese saying goes: "It's better teaching one to fish than giving him fish" and I consider it as a truth. No matter how well you've been looked after by your parents or teachers now, there must be one day that you have to become independent and rely on only yourself. Whether you like it or not, it's the very fact, it's life, and you have to learn to accept it.
Thus let's prepare ourselves well for the arrival of that day and begin with owning an independent mind. We should try to consider a thing from several aspects, not just from an obvious one. Then do our best to let others comprehend what's in our mind and impress them by, for example, using figurative paragraphs or body language. And we all should have that courage to open our mouth to talk, since English is a living language. Day by day we'll make progress unconsciously and the destination is just around the corner.

blog1:FACING THE NORTH
I was asked by one of my friends to write a blog about my life in my senior
middle school. That's why this paragraph is being created now.
This moment i can overlook the north through the window which is the
direction of my homecountry and my mother middle school. About three
and a half years ago, i went to another city for studying which is
the capital city of my province. It's my first time to study far away
from home. I living there, the change happened from childlike to
mature in my body. I built up my interests and habits there. I made
some forever true friends.
That's my ever happiest life there, remaining to be hard to forget, which is
also monotonous, though. All is connected to three points&one
line: classroom、dormitory and canteen. Sometimes a person can be easily conducted by his
surroundings until he gets out of there. It's hard to be free from
mental disease in a closed environment for long. I hated that kind of
living conditions so much at that time. Nevertheless, I missed my
life there badly. I've heard a saying that your mother middle school
is what you can call names while others can't. I've founded a kind of
relationship with my school. It will exist throughout my life.
Since I was young, I received a lot of books from my relatives. Some were
read, some not. I didn't buy myself one book until I entered my senior
middle school. I read plenty of publications which had great
influences on me. They revitalized me and brought me up mentally.
It's a good thing to have something to remeber. They can be trusted to
bring relief to your heart.

Blog 1:Write To My Future Son (*^__^*)

In your mother's first 18 years . She lived in a big country called China . Maybe when you're 18 years old . China will have been the strongest country in the world . Your mother loves her hometown very much . But because of always wanting to see the world outside , your mother chooses to leave her hometown , leave your grandmother and grandfather and goes to another country alone . Please forgive her . She just has her own dream . She just wants to broaden her horizons and to look at the world in a wider perspective . She just wants to have a challengable journey by herself . And it's great honor for her to have the chance to accept the education in a very different way in Singapore thanks to the MOE .
Actually your mother just wants to tell you some feelings about life , about goal after studying and living in two different countries . Firstly , She hopes you can appreciate all the people and all the things happened around you , not just focus on the consequence or the purpose . For there is always something deserved you to treasure . Don't wait for until it lost . And then she hopes you can always enjoy the life , enjoy the moment right now though you may come across many barriers and challenges everyday . Don't regret for any 'yesterday' , just look ahead , look at 'now' . Daniel Wu has ever said:" Life will make its turns and you just have to learn to go with the flow and learn how to be ready for that, for every moment that changes in front of you . "
Actually your mother doesn't have a very ambitious dream now . She just hope the world can be in peace and she hopes when you are growing up , you can always be happy and be freedom everyday like your mother .
Now your mother is on the way to improve herself urgently and also on the way to find your father . Maybe your mother can't write to you like this oftenly , for her tutor has give her so much homework to do . And finally dear son , She wants to tell you: whatever happens , please always remember , your mother expects you and loves you so much . (*^__^*)

Commenting on Blogs
Blog comments are a major factor in deciding the quality and the authority of a blog. So, every blogger is keen to have a good comment on his/her blog and posts. But, it is to be remembered as a rule of nature that for achieving anything we need to invest something. So, for getting good comments on your Blog and post, you must leave good comments on other blogs and posts as well.
Here are some tips on writing good comments:
1. Do not criticize the article. If you find any mistakes, then mail those to the author or mention them in a humble way.
2. Do not argue and stay adamant. Be open in the discussion and try to understand what is being discussed.
3. Write your views about the article and what you think about the topic mentioned in the article. Most importantly, know what you are writing!
4. Avoid writing off-topic comments. If you want to write an off-topic comment then mention that it is off-topic.
5. Do not try to insult the author and show your superiority. It becomes irritating to handle people who think that they know everything.
6. If you have any doubts or need any explanation from the author then clearly mention your question. Do not try to confuse the author.
7. Take care that you are not being arrogant while giving suggestions.
8. When the author replies to your comment do not forget to say Thanks. If you are unsatisfied with the reply you may re-frame your Comment and post it in a descriptive way.

10 Secrets of Writing Good Blog Posts
Blogs are still an evolving medium, and we each come to blogging with past experiences in writing, some of which will work in the blogsphere, and some of which will not. Here are a few tips from the TypePad team on how to improve your blog copy:
1. DO write about what matters to you.
This is the first commandment of blogging. The most successful blogs are written by people who are passionate about their subject matter. When you write about topics that excite you, your writing will communicate a sense of energy that will attract like-minded readers. You'll also be more likely to keep on blogging, and won't abandon your blog after a few days or weeks.
2. DON'T take a too-formal tone.
Blogging is a more informal medium than print, and your writing style should reflect that. Blogging allows you to write in a casual, face-to-face tone, as if you were sitting down for a cup of coffee with your readers. One way to begin to develop your blog "voice" is to read blogs that resonate with you and study the ways in which those bloggers choose words that maintain a professional tone while still being warm and accessible.
3. DO edit yourself.
Hey, it's your blog, right? You can write a 2,000-word essay on what you had for breakfast, or wax eloquent about everything that is wrong with retail customer service. Don't do it. Once you draft your post, read through it for redundancies, irrelevant anecdotes or anything that isn't vital. You might find that you have enough material for 2 or 3 unique posts. Your blog isn't a book; make it lean.
4. DON'T use tired clichés.
A cliché is a phrase that has been coined for so long that it has become boring. An easy way to turn off readers and make them move on to another site is to pepper your posts with clichés like "right as rain" and "easy as pie." Take a minute to prune those phrases out and replace them with something fresh and original.
5. DO spell check your posts before you click "Publish Now."
Watch out for common misspellings that won't show up on the spellchecker, such as "your" versus "you're," "their" versus "there," and "principle" and "principal." For extra spelling help, use www.dictionary.com.
6. DON'T forget basic principles of good text layout.
Readability is one of the most important aspects of good blog copy. Use line breaks between paragraphs. Use sub-heads, preferably in bold type. Use italics for emphasis. Your goal is to draw the eye and create a smooth sense of flow throughout your post. Make it easy to read!
7. DO use lists. Most blog readers skim copy rather than read it all the way through.
One way to maximize your copy impact is to use lists. Bullet lists or numbered lists call attention to important points, and ensure that readers who are skimming will catch the most vital part of your post.
8. DON'T use the same format in every post.
Mix it up a little! Some might incorporate lists, while others might be more narrative. Some posts might include a lot of images, while others will be more copy-heavy. Don't do the same thing every time.
9. DO create descriptive headlines that let readers know what to expect from your posts.
One of the best things about blogging is that it allows you to be creative. Problem is, what is clever to you might be confusing to someone else. The best way to encourage more people to read your post is to write a compelling post title, and use subheads throughout your post.
10. DO credit your sources with a mention and link. As opposed to mainstream news posts, bloggers usually tell where they got the story from.
Don't let these guidelines keep you from blogging – the most important thing is to keep writing. If you write with passion and conviction, you’ll be able to connect with other people, and your writing will improve every time you post.
