Dear son , I hope you can have chance to read this blog , because when some of your mother's classmates were sleeping deeply , your mother was writing to you with all her love.
In your mother's first 18 years . She lived in a big country called China . Maybe when you're 18 years old . China will have been the strongest country in the world . Your mother loves her hometown very much . But because of always wanting to see the world outside , your mother chooses to leave her hometown , leave your grandmother and grandfather and goes to another country alone . Please forgive her . She just has her own dream . She just wants to broaden her horizons and to look at the world in a wider perspective . She just wants to have a challengable journey by herself . And it's great honor for her to have the chance to accept the education in a very different way in Singapore thanks to the MOE .
Actually your mother just wants to tell you some feelings about life , about goal after studying and living in two different countries . Firstly , She hopes you can appreciate all the people and all the things happened around you , not just focus on the consequence or the purpose . For there is always something deserved you to treasure . Don't wait for until it lost . And then she hopes you can always enjoy the life , enjoy the moment right now though you may come across many barriers and challenges everyday . Don't regret for any 'yesterday' , just look ahead , look at 'now' . Daniel Wu has ever said:" Life will make its turns and you just have to learn to go with the flow and learn how to be ready for that, for every moment that changes in front of you . "
Actually your mother doesn't have a very ambitious dream now . She just hope the world can be in peace and she hopes when you are growing up , you can always be happy and be freedom everyday like your mother .
Now your mother is on the way to improve herself urgently and also on the way to find your father . Maybe your mother can't write to you like this oftenly , for her tutor has give her so much homework to do . I can see your love and hope for your future son, together with your own attitude towards life from it. I love the paragraph that you talked about the reason why you chose to study abroad, and I have to say that I have the same feeling with you! I missed my hometown, but I am looking forward to the new life here, too. As we are young, we should choose the way to spend our life.
