Blogger 1: Who am I ?

On Tuesday this week, we filled up a questionnaire about learning style.By pinpionting our learning preference, it also tells us which kind of people we tend to become:an activist, a reflector, a theorist or a pragmatist. At first glance, to tell you the truth, I considered myself to be a pragmatist, for I always concentrate on application of my knowledge that I learned from books. However, after I finished my questionnaire,to my surprise, I found that I could be a theorist! Along with the shock, I reflected on my behaviors, and I even began to doubt what type of person on earth I am? As the two kinds of people are too disparate to be brought together.I can draw a conclusion after experiencing one activity, but, at the same time, I may also think about how to put this conclusion into practice. Therefore, am I a theorist or a pragmatist? Furthermore, who am I?
I try to solve the problem which is the easiest to raise but the hardest to answer. Now, two days later, as far as I am concerned, people should not be just divided into several types for as human beings, we all have our own complex personalities which are too various to be classified. One can be both modest or proud, active or shy.As our classmate Daquan often says: It all depends.I think it is a very bright and crafty answer. Something in the world should not be only judged by certain standards which are, I think, one-sided.
Return to the title, that is really a difficult question to answer. If I have to answer, then, the only choice may be:Well, it all depends.
So, my dear readers, who are you?

  1. Okay~~I'm the sofa. (*^__^*) ....And I think the questionaire is always questionaire. Maybe the results may reflect something about us.But I think it's no use.because we're change everyday,it's better to spend everyday in our daily style rather than to always think who are we....Happy to spend everyday is always the first choice, isn't it?~(=@__@=)...

    1. Well, that's the point.I just want to reflect on myself and live every day meaningfully. I remember our lecturer Doc Patrick once said:There are two days we don't have to worry too much about; they are yesterday and tomorrow. So, why not?
Finally, congratulations to you for your quick reply to catch the sofa~~

  3. I think you have had a very good reflection. You show the truth in the second paragraph with very humorous and reasonable words.I cannot agree with you any more.People's characters will change with different people and in different situations. The most important thing is to be yourself.

  4. The simplest questions like who I am I come to everyone’s mind as Stephen Hawking mentioned in A Brief History of Time. Reflection on these questions is a kind of power which promotes the progress of human beings. Sometime the result is not so important compared with the process. We can learn a lot in thinking of this question better than merely chase the result. Wish you will be wiser in the process of think.

    1. OK, frankly speaking, I am still very confused with the question, but when I was thinking the question, I tried to reach the conclusion that can guide our future life. I enjoy the experience of thinking.

  5. i consider your topic as a philosophy matter. will you be another person if your name is changed? will you be that kind of person if someone assumes you to be? never! we are just who we are, and nobody can change this. so we needn't to spend time on thinking "what kind of person am i"; being what we want to be is our prime choice!

  6. It is quit a question. There are so many people think this question both in TV play and real life. While this question has not brother me yet. I am not thinking as deep as you are. I do not want this question make my life confused. You can keep thinking then tell me the answer.
